Welcome to Heart of Texas Metalworks!

Located in Austin, Texas and founded in 2002, H.O.T. Metalworks is a small company dedicated to designing, making, and installing fine metalwork. Commissioned architectural ironwork is my primary focus. The design for each new commission evolves from discussions with the client, site visits, and research. While each piece reflects the sensibilities of the designer/blacksmith, every project is made to be uniquely suited to its location and the individual needs of the client. It is important to me that each project meets applicable building codes, is well crafted, and above all, enhances the space in which it is installed.

My emphasis on quality offers clients the opportunity to realize their ideas through a partnership with a highly skilled craftsman who will oversee a project from inception to installation.
